Abstract

Una de las aspiraciones a mediano plazo de la Revista Médica Panacea (RMP), es estar al nivel de las mejores revistas del país, para lograr esta meta, el Comité Editorial reconoce la necesidad de cumplir ciertos requisitos (indización, periodicidad, visibilidad, calidad, etc.); como la implementación de un sistema que garantice la publicación en línea, a su vez de simplificar los procesos de edición y gestión, esto se lograría a través de un software de código abierto (Open Source) (1), como el reconocido Open Journal System (OJS) (http://pkp.sfu.ca/espanol), plataforma bajo la cual nuestra revista recientemente viene funcionando.
