"Fungus ball" is the term coined for the formation of different mycotic hyphae with surrounding connective tissue, which due to its oval shape is attributed with "ball" characteristics. It is usually associated with the presence of Candida spp. in patients with some degree of immunocompromise and prolonged exposure to antimicrobial use. Its epidemiology is unknown. We present the case of a male patient with post-renal urinary symptomatology with incidental finding of "Fungus Ball" in imaging studies requiring antifungal management with polyenes, azoles and surgical resection.
