The principal risk factors for cerebrovascular disease (CVD) in young adults have been studied in diverse parts of the world; numerous renowned researcherswhosehave contributedwith their findings. In thepresent work we make a review about those risk factors that are present in thisage, making a difference in therisk factors which were found in the general population. Inside the development of this particular aspect, we introduce a national estimaterealized in the Institute of Neurological Sciencesin Lima-Peru, that researched this topicin a local perspective,used tocompareboth findings.In this review,we try to give an approximation aboutthe study of cardiovascular disease in both young adults and elderly, a diseaselittle studiedin ourmedia.
