Editorial process

The editorial process of the Revista Médica Panacea commences with the submission of the manuscript to the following email address: panacea@unica.edu.pe.

The journal's Technical Area will review whether the manuscript adheres to the formatting guidelines outlined in the Author Guidelines section.

Manuscripts that fail to comply with the Author Guidelines will be rejected. Resubmissions will be treated as new submissions.

Manuscripts that meet the Author Guidelines will be forwarded to the Editorial Committee for an initial content review. The Editorial Committee will decide whether the manuscript is rejected or proceeds to the editorial process, assigning appropriate reviewers.

Upon receipt of the reviewers' feedback, the Editorial Committee will evaluate their recommendations and notify the corresponding author via email whether the manuscript has been rejected for publication or conditionally accepted, requiring the author to modify the manuscript or address the reviewers' comments.

The final manuscript submitted by the author will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee, which will assess the final version and decide whether to reject or accept it for publication.

Manuscripts accepted for publication will be individually sent to the typesetting department. The edited manuscript in PDF format will be sent to the author for final review and approval.

The Editorial Committee will determine which articles will be published in the next issue, and they will be subsequently published on the Revista Médica Panacea's website."
